Book Week video, your top post this month

Book Week video

23 likes, your best-performing post in August

Content noteYour top two posts this month were both "kids and staff having a real moment on camera" (this video, and the Kindy/Pre-Primary visitors post), not the process-and-curriculum posts (Maths Action Research, Science). Only one month of data so not conclusive yet, but it lines up with what we talked about testing, more of this style. We can't pull hook rate or watch-through on organic posts the way we can on paid ads, Meta doesn't expose that data the same way, but likes are a fair proxy for now.

Organic Boosting campaign (paid), by state

1–31 August 2026. This is a separate thing from the organic posts above, a small ad budget behind them to extend reach further.

Hook rate = watched at least 3 seconds ÷ times shown. The bars show how far people who hooked kept watching, scaled against each video's own hook rate.

Content noteNot a content problem. Mitch let us know Kindy 2027 is full, no spots left, so the enquiry drop is actually a good sign, we're not wasting spend chasing a class that's already closed. We're turning this ad off and refreshing the content in the next month or two to push 2028 Kindy enrolments instead.

Hook25%50%75%100%
Content noteStrong hook, almost half of everyone who saw it stopped to watch, but the same steep drop-off as Kindy 2027. People are curious about the leadership role but aren't staying to be convinced. Worth pulling a concrete detail (the housing support, the location allowance) into the first 10 seconds instead of saving it for later in the video.
